Position Overview
As a Gaming QA Tester, you will play a critical role in our game development pipeline. You will be the bridge between developer intent and player satisfaction. Your mission is to rigorously test game mechanics, user interfaces, and overall functionality across various platforms, identifying bugs before they reach the players.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake all duties assigned by Project Managers.
- Prepare detailed checklists, test plans, and test cases to support comprehensive testing execution.
- Execute functional and non-functional testing based on prepared checklists and test cases.
- Identify, isolate, and log details of bugs, glitches, and regression issues found in the game.
- Generate clear testing reports and bug documentation for features and sections tested.
- Proactively provide feedback and recommendations on game functionality, balance, and player experience.
- Verify bug fixes and maintain updated regression test suites.
- Collaborate with developers and Project Managers to maintain peak quality standards under tight, fast-paced deadlines.
Requirements:
- Experience in Game Development, Gaming QA, Gaming QA Engineer, or a related field.
- Deep passion for games, gaming culture, and quality assurance.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong skills in creating checklists, test plans, test cases, and understanding the complete bug life cycle.
- Compatible testing hardware (Windows PC/laptop, Console, or Android/iOS devices) and a stable internet connection.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
