Position Overview
The Game Localization QA Tester will work as part of a game testing team to identify and fix issues affecting the localization of the game by making text changes, writing detailed bug reports, performing regression testing, etc. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and linguistic quality of localized content by performing manual testing across various gaming platforms
Responsibilities
- Translate and localize in-game content from Chinese to Japanese
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance
- Collaborate with QA and localization teams
- Follow terminology, style guides, and project requirements
- Support live updates and game releases when needed
Requirements
- Native-level Japanese and strong Chinese proficiency
- Experience in game translation or localization
- Familiarity with gaming terminology and genres
- Strong attention to detail and linguistic accuracy
- Able to work on-site in Tokyo
